Turning Her Fear Into Your Child’s Comfort
For most of her childhood, Dr. Raya dreaded the dentist. She remembers the cold rooms and the nervous butterflies until she met a "cool dentist" who finally took the time to be kind. That one great experience changed her life's path. After seeing firsthand how much power a gentle approach has, she dedicated her life to becoming the dentist she wished she had as a kid.
Dr. Raya’s journey took her from her hometown of Chicago to the Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine, followed by a prestigious two-year pediatric residency at NYU Langone Hospitals. Today, she combines that high-level clinical expertise with a "person-first" philosophy.
When she’s not helping Chandler kiddos shine, you’ll likely find Dr. Raya relaxing by the pool with a good book, walking her dogs, Petey and Goldie, or hitting the gym. She’s also a firm believer that life is better with a great happy hour plate of nachos and a spicy margarita!
